2ND GI (GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATIONS) FAIR INDIA 2023 TO BE HELD FROM 20 - 24 JULY, 2023 AT INDIA EXPO CENTRE & MART, GREATER NOIDA, DELHI NCR.

The Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts is an apex organization of trade and industry looking after the promotion of Indian Handicrafts and is also credited with organizing Asia’s largest Handicrafts and Gifts show, “IHGF Delhi Fair” twice in a year i.e. Spring and Autumn edition. The Council facilitates business and provides comprehensive information about the sector to international buyers and ensures optimal interface between the Indian handicrafts industry and the buyers.  Further, to promote GI (Geographical Indications)  tagged products  , EPCH is organizing GI Fair India (Geographical Indications).

The Council  successfully organized the 1st edition of GI (Geographical Indications) Fair India in July 2022 wherein over 350 GI tagged products from 31 states / UT of India were on display by 304 GI producers of India and attracted 11000+ visitors from India & overseas. Keeping in view the Government of India's initiative to build 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' and 'Local goes Global', the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts is organizing the 2nd edition "GI (Geographical Indications) Fair India 2023" scheduled from 20th to 24th July, 2023 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR.

The GI Fair India will be a B2B & B2C Geographical Indications (GI) Fair showcasing the strength of Indian Geographically Indicated products under one roof. There are about 460+ famed Indian products have been recognised so and are tagged with the global geographical indication. Out of which; • 260 Handicrafts & Handloom • 169 Agricultural Products • 23 Food Stuff • 12 Manufactured • 3 Natural Products.  The Govt. of India and the Ministry of Commerce & Industry has given emphasis on promotion of exports or traditional geographical indications (GI) products from India.

One of the highlights of this show is that a special promotional scheme is on offer for the qualifying buyers economy class to and fro air fare on the fixed reimbursement basis and complimentary hotel stay at New Delhi for three nights during the show as per terms and conditions.
