Statement by Sh. Jaideep Mazumdar, Ambassador and Permanent Representative.

Madam Chair,

India has taken note of the Report of the DG entitled: NPT Safeguards Agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran – GOV/2020/47 dated 4 September 2020. We welcome the Joint Statement by the Director General of the IAEA and the Vice-President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Head of the AEOI dated 26 August 2020. We urge Iran to continue its cooperation with the Agency.
