Webinar on Solar PV Manufacturing in India: Opportunities and Challenges
India has made a commitment in Paris Climate Agreement under COP 21 to reduce emission intensity of GDP by 33-35% from 2005 level, to achieve 40% electric power installed capacity from non-fossil fuel-based sources by the year 2030 and to achieve it by adding 175 GW of re-generation by 2022. The Solar PV manufacturing is one of the strategic sectors announced by the Indian government as part of the post-Covid Aatmanirbhar Bharat recovery initiative.
The webinar on Solar PV Manufacturing in India, which would explore opportunities and challenges, takes place online on 18 December 2020 at 15:00 hrs IST. The webinar, organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation and Exhibitions India Group, will cover the following sector:
